Parqet API - Terms of Service

    Welcome to the Parqet API. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of the Parqet API (the "API") provided by Parqet Fintech GmbH, Ballindamm 27, 20095 Hamburg, E-Mail [email protected] ("Parqet"). By using the API, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

      1. Access to the API is granted via an API key.
      2. Each API key is personal to the contracting company and must not be shared or resold.
    2. Usage

      1. The API is intended for business customers only.
      2. There are no fixed rate limits, but we enforce Fair Use policies. Excessive scraping or misuse may result in termination of access.
  3. Pricing & Billing

    1. Paid Access

      1. The API is a paid service, with custom pricing depending on usage volume and specific agreements.
      2. The Logo API (endpoint providing company logos) is free to use with proper attribution.
    2. Payment & Subscription

      1. Payments are made via annual subscription or pay-per-use, depending on the agreement.
      2. Cancellation is possible at any time before the yearly renewal date.
  4. Data & Compliance

    1. Data Provided

      1. The API provides asset-related data (e.g., asset IDs, logos, mappings, search).
      2. No personal user data is collected or processed.
    2. Third-Party Rights

      1. Users must respect third-party rights when using the data.
      2. Specifically, logos remain the property of their respective owners and may only be used in accordance with Fair Use principles, such as identifying stocks and companies.
  5. Liability & Warranties

    1. No Guarantees

      1. We strive for accuracy and uptime, but the API is provided "as is" with no guarantees regarding availability or correctness of data.
    2. Limitation of Liability

      1. Parqet is not liable for any damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete data.
      2. Users assume full responsibility for their use of the API and the interpretation of the data provided.
    3. Misuse & Violations

      1. Any misuse of the API (e.g., excessive scraping, resale of data) may result in immediate termination of access.
      2. We reserve the right to block access to any user violating these Terms.

    1. Governing Law

      1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
      2. The place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, Germany.
    2. Changes to Terms

      We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the API after changes implies acceptance of the new Terms.
